The Fox Inn - Stourbridge

The food was excellent, the dining area was wonderful, and the gardens were beautiful. The staff was polite and friendly.

The food was superb, full of flavour a good size portion. also the staff the atmosphere was lovely.

An absolutely terrible experience! The service was poor from start to finish. Although we reserved a table for 7:30 PM, we didn't have time to enjoy dessert before the 10 PM curfew. One of our starters didn't arrive until five minutes after the rest of us had finished ours! The waitress handed us the dessert menu at 9:50 PM but never returned to take our order. Shortly after, a waiter who seemed to be the manager brought us the bill for payment. He took off his mask at the table, saying, "I'm glad to get that off; it's soaking," crumpled it up in his hand, and shoved it into his pocket. Then he handed us the card machine with the same hand! At no point were we asked to check in for any contact tracing either. This is definitely not a Covid-safe environment!

The food was exquisite, and the service was impeccable. The hosts were wonderful and accommodating.
