No.9 Coffee Shop may not catch your eye from the outside, but don't be fooled - this hidden gem has a lot to offer. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the coffee is delicious, and they have a great selection of homemade cakes. We tried the coffee and caramel sponge and it was absolutely divine. Whether you're waiting for your ferry or just exploring the town, be sure to stop by. They have indoor seating as well as a convenient takeaway option. Don't forget to bring your own coffee cup and do your part to help save the planet.
We stopped in for coffee and cake before catching the ferry and were pleasantly surprised by this charming little gem in Stornoway. The atmosphere was beautiful and we will definitely be back on our next trip. The lunch menu looked fantastic and the homemade baked goods were delicious.
We recently visited a charming coffee shop that had a cozy atmosphere. However, our overall experience was not the best. The staff, particularly the young teenagers working on a Saturday afternoon, could use some customer service training. Our greeting was lacking, and the girls behind the counter seemed disinterested in serving customers with their lack of smiles. Despite this, the food was delicious, the prices were reasonable, and the decor was beautiful (although it could be a bit brighter). Our only disappointment was the level of service we received.
