Mow Cop Inn - Stoke-on-Trent

Our family, spanning four generations, found something on the menu to please everyone's tastebuds. The diverse menu offers plenty of choices and the specials are a step above typical pub fare. The staff is delightful, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The high-quality food is also reasonably priced.

I had a wonderful Sunday lunch at this restaurant with a very friendly hostess. The food was abundant and delicious. The draft beer selection was limited, but there was a great variety of bottled beers to choose from. I will definitely be returning in the future.

After waiting for an hour for our food, we were shocked to receive frozen fish and chips. The meal was clearly not homemade. The Ploughman's lunch was lacking meat and a pork pie. Our drinks, which included two lemonades, one coke, and a half of a lager, cost £14. The pub's atmosphere was dated and the smell of damp was noticeable.

Visited at the weekend and even though we had booked a table we were an hour and a half early. Margaret greeted us and eating earlier was no problem. Myself and partner had fillet steaks, perfectly cooked and all for just £16.95 each. I could not fault the service or the food, so will definitely visit again. Many thanks
