Little Dessert Shop Stoke Hanley

We parked at the Intu multi-storey, it is a five minute walk into Hanley from there! We were seated and served really quickly. I had the Hazelnut Cheesecake and the Red Passion smoothie. The cheesecake was amazing and the smoothie was so refreshing!

Our experience has always been good, the manager has always been very friendly and attentive when we have visited. Our last visit it was a lot busier than when we visited at brunch but we were still looked after. The desserts arrived promptly and were lovely. Nice little place for a catch up with friends for tea coffee and something sweet!

My friend had picked to come here so I checked on the website menu ahead of time for the vegan options there was tonnes including pancakes and waffles that I was super excited to try. When we sat down I could not see any obvious vegan options so went to see if they had a separate Vegan menu. The guy at the counter said oh all we have is cookie dough we don’t have any of the other options. Ok no problem I like cookie dough. When It arrived it was basically a heated up cookie in a dish with some chocolate sauce thrown on. The ice cream on the side was more like slightly flavoured vanilla ice than ice cream it was completely inedible. The Cookie was nice as was the sauce but considering they only had the one option they could have jazzed it up by putting a few strawberries or banana on the top. Will not be back if they have the full menu as this was my first and only visit.

I ordered from the little desert shop in Hanley to be delivered as a treat for my sons birthday , we ordered the Ferrero rocher milkshake which was £3.95 and a limited edition Easter egg milkshake which was £7.95 and when it came it was nothing like what was advertised the ferrero rocher one didn’t have any ferrero chocolate on it and the Easter egg was missing completely and I received a cup of milk shake with a dollop of whipped cream on top and when I rang they said they couldn’t get any eggs so they still put the milkshake that should go into the egg in a cup and no one else has complained but when I’m paying £4 more for a chocolate egg I want a chocolate egg not a milkshake in a cup , I will not be using this shop again a total rip off

Great service, very polite and accommodating (I had my 7yo and 2yo with me). I said we’d take it away then we decided to stay once it had come out and they were very understanding and there were no qualms with us doing that. Chocolate fudge cake was the best we’ve had in a long time and my cheesecake was delectable. Will definitely visit again and would recommend. Yes, it’s quite pricey but as a treat, it’s worth it.
