The Scotch Egg - Stockport

I stopped by this restaurant on a very rainy Saturday afternoon. It was very quiet. The bacon sandwich was excellent, made with back bacon instead of streaky fatty bacon. It was topped off with brown sauce. Delicious!

I visited Stockport and was recommended to try the Scotch egg at this restaurant while grabbing a coffee. Instead of just having coffee, I decided to also have breakfast since having lunch later seemed unlikely. The place was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly. The food was excellent, with all breakfast items served hot, unlike other places I've been to. It was not busy when I arrived, so the service was quick. I understand why there may be reviews mentioning a queue, but to me, that is a sign of quality if people are willing to wait. Thank you to the ladies working there for their hard work and keep up the great service.

I went in expecting the usual run of the mill greasy spoon. I was proved wrong very quickly. A good choice of food and drink. I opted for porridge tea cakes and freshly squeezed orange (total cost around 5 pounds). Everything was excellent and much nicer than most cafes. Theres a selection of home made scotch eggs, nice looking healthy salads and other good things. Of course the full english breakfast is still an option. Staff friendly and open early. What more could you want from a cafe?

Arrived very early for an appointment, so decided to eat an early lunch. What a find ordered sweet chilli chicken frittata with seals. Fantastic! Great food and service with a smile. If I'm ever back this way I will definitely call again

We were searching for a cafe this morning me and two stroppy teenage girls moaning and groaning as we drove around searching... Spotted the scotch egg and found a parking space. Warm welcome as we entered and where then served an awesome full English delight Thank you so much :
