Dolce Vita - Stockholms laen

The service was extremely slow. The staff appeared uninterested, although not necessarily rude. After waiting 45 minutes for our food, they came back to ask who had ordered the vegan pasta. It was frustrating that it took so long to figure out. There was another food business across the street where we could have easily purchased a meal instead. Overall, the experience was mediocre and I feel like I could have cooked a better meal at home. I do not plan on returning and would not recommend this restaurant.

The restaurant offered 3 or 4 vegan pasta options and 5 different vegan pizza options. It was a bit confusing that the English menu mentioned cheese and cream instead of vegan cheese and cream. The pasta was average, nothing exceptional. I could have done without the meat substitute, but the rest was good. The service seemed a bit overwhelmed with English speakers, but we managed.

I ordered a vegan menu that was quite expensive. I highly doubt it was truly vegan. However, it was tasty, but I felt guilty about the deception.

We had pasta what was ok. I was pretty salty, my companion was better. service was almost rude at first, but perhaps the waiter recognized that as they were later friendly.

After reading the two first reviews I had high expectations for this place boy was I disappointed. The female waitress does not speak Swedish well, didn't know what was vegan on the menu and was in general not friendly or happy. I asked her which starters were vegan and when she finally understood what I was saying she didn't know and who to go through them one by one to figure it out. Oh well. They also forget a glass of wine that was ordered. They also didn't ask us if we wanted the bill after we finished our meal and did not look at us while we were trying to catch their attention for 10min to get the bill. So service gets 1/5. The free starter salad was a joke. Just tomato, cucumber and salad. The pasta dish didn't look nice at all but actually tasted pretty ok. It was just VERY SMALL and I was still hungry after I finished it and then I had two bread sticks and the salad as well. I had to go home and eat two sandwiches after we left. The pasta was also waaay more expensive than it should've been. So food for price is 2/5. The only good thing I can say about this place is the atmosphere. It was really cozy and well decorated. It beats Feca in this regard. Service: 1/5 Atmosphere: 4/5 Food for price: 2/5 Total: 2/5 I won't be coming back here. Go to Feca on Södermalm instead, they have great service and delicious vegan food.
