Bacaro Restaurang Vinbar - Stockholm

We absolutely recommend this restaurant. We loved the food. It was fresh (lovely creamy mozzarella), tasty (al dente pasta, flavourful risotto), full portions (you will not leave hungry), creative (cabbage veggie dish) and looked great (see pictures, you'll want to just dig in). This restaurant is located on a corner so you have lots of windows that make it feel spacious although it's very small. We loved the interior; modern, but cosy and photography on the wall. Pricewise it's not exactly the cheapest place to eat, but for the quality you get it's money well spent. Locationwise it's about a 5 minute walk from the nearest subway station. We stayed for drinks till closingtime and will definitely visit this place again in the future.

A delicious restaurant in Södermalm! The most Beautiful fotographs as decor Great ambiance, Delicious Råbiff, Duck, Chevre sallads and chocolate mousse. The service was Excellent! Bartender and waitress were the owners. I recomended I give it a 8 out of 10

We visited Baraco on a Friday evening. It is a very cosy place with outstanding photos of famous people on the walls, all taken by the owner himself! We had pasta, which was excellent and so was the confit de canard (duck leg) with wonderful mashed potatoes! The wine was really good, but a bit pricey. The beer on tap was Italian and really nice. Would definately want tor return!

First visit to this local place in Södermalm. Very nice experience. You feel welcome from first step. The menu is not huge but you will find your happiness for sure : salads, cold cuts and cheese, meat, fish soup, pasta. We shared a cold cut cheese plate and then we had cannelloni and avocado/goat cheese salad. Everything was very tasty, The dessert was not impressive but we had a very nice experience overall. Good wine list with affordable prices (350-500 SEK/bottle). Will definitely go back. Plus : very nice fresh restrooms Tips : better to book as the place is not very big. However if you are 2, they might be able to squeeze you in anyway.

We went to a part of Södermalm which is a bit outside our usual path because we were curious about Bacaro, which on the website is described as eating dinner in the living room of good friends . That was not really the case. However, the food is good and worth its price. The menu leans towards the Italian cuisine with bruschetta, risotto and homemade pasta. The wine list is also good and the wines are almost all available by the glass, which is positive if you like try some different wines during the evening. But: the service was far below par. You did not feel welcome and seen, despite the relatively small room and even though we sat there for a number of hours. It is possible that the waiter was tired or had a bad day, or simply was nice to regulars, but the non-existent service pulled the whole experience down. So the final review will be: nice neighborhood restaurant but not worth a detour.
