Mimmos Watermeyer - Stinkwater

I made a reservation for 17 people via phone, and I was assisted by a friendly waitress named Susan. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was ready for our evening, even confirming our attendance just hours before we arrived. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with warm smiles and seated by Susan. She helped us with our drink orders and guided us through the menu, pointing out some items not listed, like the succulent Eisbien and the delicious Lamb Shank. We had a fantastic time at the restaurant, enjoying ourselves and making quite a bit of noise (as one would expect with such a large group). Thankfully, we were never asked to keep it down. The restaurant wasn't overly busy, especially considering it was a pay weekend, which made the experience even better. **Critiques:** 1. For a table of this size, it would have been more efficient to have two servers, as some items took longer to order. 2. It would be helpful to discuss bill-splitting upon arrival to avoid confusion when settling the bill at the end of the night. 3. As the one who organized our gathering, I ended up covering the food bill, which was... well, let's just say a bit surprising. Additionally, it would have been nice if they offered larger table packages, like pizza platters, for groups.

I was pleasantly surprised by my friends and family last night. They organized a gathering for me, and a group of over 20 of us were seated at a large table that my fiancé had arranged. As you can imagine, ordering with such a big group took some time—about an hour and a half, to be exact. However, the food was served warm and tasted great despite the wait. A big thank you to our servers and Mimmos for their wonderful hospitality!

The staff here are incredibly friendly and helpful. I just picked up a takeaway, but while I was waiting, I enjoyed watching the staff interact with customers and seeing all the smiling faces. I barely even noticed how long I was waiting (and it wasn't long at all, which is fantastic!). Great job, everyone! I will definitely come back for a sit-down meal soon. P.S. The chandelier is absolutely gorgeous!

Ordered from their takeaway menu a few times and was happy, but last night my wife and I ordered again but this time we were a little disappointed... The pasta had way too much garlic (and this coming from a garlic lover hardly any chicken in it and the Sorento salad i also had too go on a hunting expedition for chicken, my spring onions were replaced with standard brown onions.. So please do a quality check before it leaves the restaurant.. I will order again.. Depending on what I receive next time will determine if I come back. Hoping for the best ;

Mimmos's feta pepperoni pizza accompanied by their chilli sauce and a bottle of pinotage is our absolute addiction. Definitely the country's best pizza and pasta restuarant! Life's guilty pleasures! Mauritz Mollentze
