フィードバックを提供するOn the wedding day, although the food was enjoyable, we received numerous complaints about Sus’s demeanor, and the overall service was lacking. The bar was disorganized, and staff seemed reluctant to serve guests. I personally attribute this issue to Sus; after witnessing her attitude, I certainly wouldn’t want to work with her. It is unacceptable for the owner to display rudeness, especially when our guests pointed it out during the event. For instance, she snatched a drink from the bride's sister without justification, despite the fact that we provided the alcohol and had a proper liquor license. She was also openly disrespectful to her staff in front of our guests. Additionally, dealing with the contract was a frustrating experience. Sus didn’t listen well and frequently failed to take notes. The process was so disorganized that we ended up having numerous meetings reiterating the same points, encountering contracts that didn’t match our discussions, and having to revisit issues repeatedly just to get everything straightened out. To make matters worse, just two weeks before the event, she threatened us to look elsewhere if we didn't agree to her last-minute price increases, which contradicted our initial agreement. Lastly, according to the contract, she was supposed to leave the leftover food after the event, but that didn’t happen either. Overall, while the food was a bright spot, I cannot recommend this restaurant due to the disappointing service and management.
However, there was one issue that understandably upset me, as it had been discussed both in the proposal and during our in-person walkthrough with the venue. Our cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres were supposed to be passed around after the ceremony for an hour, but instead, they were set out alongside the main food, which wasn't served until about an hour after the ceremony while we were occupied with photos. I only learned about this, unfortunately, with about 15 minutes left in the cocktail hour, through my venue coordinator (who should have noticed the mistake earlier, but was included at no extra charge). By then, it was too late to rectify the situation, so I recommend confirming details multiple times. That said, the quality and value were outstanding—definitely a five-star experience. Overall, Sus and her team met our unique catering challenge perfectly. (This review is for our wedding in 2022, and I apologize for the delay!)
Sus and her team at Maison Culinaire did a great job for us on a large catering job. We needed a total of 500 boxed lunches, split and delivered to two different places each day for seven days. They did an outstanding job providing a variety of delicious items and arrived early every day. Customer service as great too. Highly recommend them for your next catering job, whether it's small or big!

If you are looking for a caterer, Maison Culinaire is definitely the company to choose. My decision to contract Maison Culinaire to handle my daughter’s wedding reception was the best decision I made through the entire planning process. Chef Sus couldn’t have been easier to work with. We had several date changes due to covid. With each change, Sus was flexible and supportive. She was a calming force, exactly what I needed. The quality of her menu is 5 star, as is her staff. Her gorgeous display of dishes was matched by delicious flavors. I received so many compliments from our guests. I am so thankful for all she did to help make the reception so successful. I have already contracted with her to handle my next cocktail party. I recommend Maison Culinaire whole heartedly.
