This is the absolute best pork belly that I have ever had! I was so hungry I had to pull over and eat in the parking lot!

I dined at Isla Detroit for the first time and had their pancit palabok and enjoyed it. The presentation was excellent.Their restaurant is at a good location. I highly recommend Isla Detroit for all to enjoy their authentic Filipino cuisine.Isla Detroit owners are good people and great to talk to.

IF you are Filipino, or know a Filipino, or just want a different dessert this is the place to go for Halo-Halo (pronounced with a short O, so it sounds like hollow-hollow). Halo-halo is a mixture of ice cream, jellied fruit, soft beans and leche flan and at Isla Detroit it is served in a hollowed out fresh coconut.l, which is why it is called Buko Halo Halo.
