Wild Plum - Steamboat Springs

This place is OUTSTANDING for a quick bite Smash Burger was awesome grab some groceries and a wonderful bottle of wine, a muffin for breakfast or something for desert. What a wonderful place to have near our condo. THANK YOU for the Eggs from the back when you ran out up front! ;

Had a nice little variety of snacks and some fresh produce. Worked wonderfully in a pinch.

Maybe a good place to shop but my margarita pizza was very plain and had minimum ingredients.

Combo of food to order, wine shop, and 'grocery ' store. This is one of the only on-mountain options for some basics like milk, bread, and eggs, but you 'll find that you can 't buy the basic version of anything at the Wild Plum. They stock more specialty brands which are more expensive everywhere and then marked up further given the location/convenience/scarcity. We visited WP a few times during out visit. WP is a good place for a treat but, but if you can swing the trip to Safeway (off mountain) for your basic goods you 'll save some .

Update as of 2023-This place has gone downhill in regard to service. It used to be a fun place to go and hang out, have a beer, and socialize with the friendly staff. Now they simply have staff that hardly know what they are doing, don't talk, and give you cold drinks that should be hot. For the prices, I will no longer go there. The concept is great, but the execution is no longer there. It might be good to hire people invested in Steamboat to keep the reason people come to Steamboat alive. Bummer.This place has a great selection of everything you need including beer and wine. All of their products are quality which is why you do pay a bit more. Their made on-sight food is tasty, and every time we've been in there, which is a lot, the staff is nothing but helpful and friendly. My kids go by themselves all the time there as well, and are treated respectfully.
