Out of the Way but Great Place for Lunch. This is one of those places that you actually have to hunt for as opposed to just run across. Don't worry. It's worth the hunt.<br/ <br/ Basically just a rural food stand about 5 miles North of Statesville on Hwy 115. Everything is walk up with no seating. Order at the window and go.<br/ <br/ In other words, nothing fancy but the food makes up for it. I expected more Barbecue items on the menu but the Barbecue sandwich I had was outstanding. Slaw was Eastern Red Style and the Onion Rings were great.<br/ <br/ Only service is at the walk up window so nothing to report there except that it is efficient and friendly. This appears to be a place with a lot of regular customer because everyone knows each other.<br/ <br/ A little out of the way but I'm glad I made the trip and I will be going back in the near future. Some of the best Barbecue in the Statesville area.
