Eagle Creek Brewing Company

I ordered food for delivery and waited an hour for it to arrive. When the driver finally showed up, they waited another 15 minutes, only for my order to be canceled. Now, I'm left waiting 3-5 days for a refund.

I recently visited a brewery in this college town for the first time. At first glance, both the interior and exterior felt a bit rundown, reminiscent of a typical college town brewery. You place your order for food and drinks at the bar and pay at that time. I decided to try a flight of four of their beers, which came in small 5-ounce glasses. I found the price to be quite steep at $10.25. For dinner, I ordered a shrimp po-boy, along with a side of French fries and a side of broccoli. The sandwich was decent, but it was disappointing to find only five small shrimp on such a large roll. The fries tasted like frozen ones and were undercooked. On a positive note, the broccoli was quite tasty, but it was just raw ramen noodles tossed in, rather than being roasted. Overall, I’m unlikely to return, which is unfortunate because the beer was genuinely good. Unfortunately, the food did not meet my expectations, and the overall atmosphere of the place felt a bit grungy and uninviting.

Great beer and friendly locals! The atmosphere is lively, and they also serve liqueurs like most places in Statesboro. I didn't try the food, but I'm looking forward to going back.

Just had a GREAT brunch! Food was outstanding and the new brewer has some great new beers on tap! He’s even done some amazing work with some of their standards. Great stuff down here.
