Tacos El Jefe - Stanton

I waited to be assisted at the restaurant, but was told to be patient and ended up standing around for 15 minutes without any help. I eventually decided to leave.

My husband and I visited this restaurant on February 18th, 2024. We were among the first customers as the restaurant had just opened. The establishment was very clean and we were greeted promptly. The gentleman who took our order was polite and the food was authentic. I am very particular about Mexican food, but I thoroughly enjoyed the bistec ranchero I ordered. My husband tried the tacos Jefe and tripas, and while he found the tripas to be too crunchy for his liking, he still enjoyed them. We appreciated the variety of salsas available. We would definitely return if we are in town again. Keep up the great work!

My husband and I visited the restaurant today on 2/14/24 at 8:15. We placed our order at 8:22 and waited for 50 minutes until my husband decided to go up to the counter to inquire about our food. The cashier was incredibly rude and did not turn around to look at him before saying she did not know. After waiting an additional 6 to 10 minutes, we asked about the food again and the cashier told my husband to ask the cook. She then rudely informed him that it would take too long before the food was ready and offered a refund instead. We waited almost an hour for our food before leaving without it, and the service was extremely disrespectful. It is important that this issue is addressed. Several customers had left because they were not even acknowledged while waiting for their orders to be taken. This level of service is unacceptable and left us feeling very disappointed.

Carne asada nachos worst nachos I’ve had . No taste at all and the salsas are just as plain . First and definitely last time I get food from this place .

From bad to worse now.... Good tacos.But with sauces, lemon and even napkins it is very scarce.3 pieces of lemon for three tacos..... (Pieces of one lemon make 8)I think I will stop using.
