Bruen's - Stanton

Bruen's restaurant. I have eaten at least 10 times in Bruen in the last 10 months and I really like it. It's really delicious home cooking. I didn't try anything I didn't like and I always feel extremely full. Although it would be hard to select my favorite product, I would have to say that both ribeye sandwich and fried chicken are on the list. The side salads are always fresh and tasty. I've never been there when there was no crowd, so parking can be a problem. I had to drive away twice because I couldn't find a parking lot. The dessert menu looks delicious, but I am too full of lunch to enjoy the sweets.... maybe one day I will order dessert first! As long as I travel to Stanton, I will return to Bruen for lunch. Absolutely amazing we loved the look the atmosphere and best of all the food. First time going and we will be back. Great little hole in the wall with home cooked food like granny makes. Don't change a thing...

We stopped here as we came into town to visit the RRG Area. And Ms. Regina was absolutely a treasure. She waited tables for what seemed like the entire restaurant. She was fantastic. The food was good. I would definitely stop there again!

If you like to eat where the locals go and avoid the chain places this is the place for you! Everyone was so friendly here and the meals here are traditional home cooked foods. Don 't go in expecting a posh place with candles and expensive wine because you won 't get it. This is a great mom and pop single room diner with great pricing, good food, and great company. Thanks for being so welcoming and inviting us to come visit again! Keep in mind they only take cash (or check but not from out of towners).

We enjoyed it so much we came twice. Fabulous beef Manhattans and their cheesy potatoes are to die for. Off the beaten path but well worth the trip. Great staff as well. JUST MAKE SURE TO HAVE CASH. They do not take cards.
