Rendezvous Family - Stanstead

My wife ordered a mushroom and bacon omelette, while I opted for the smoked meat eggs Benedict. She found her omelette to be overcooked, although it still tasted good. The side of sliced, grilled potatoes was also overcooked, and the baked beans were served cold. My dish had similar issues with the potatoes and beans. They mistakenly brought out a ham Benedict first and had to remake mine with smoked meat. When it finally arrived, it was tasty, but the smoked meat didn't have much of a smoky flavor. While many people seem to enjoy this restaurant, it just wasn't to our liking.

Our first stop over the Canadian border into this little town was this restaurant. A pleasant atmosphere, air conditioning inside, deck seating outside, and friendly staff. Brittany, our waitress, was especially good and even helped us learn about the Canadian currency and the various coins. Service was quick and my cheese steak sandwich was made with real brisket! The staff spoke perfect English, possibly better than mine. In fact, it seemed to be the most spoken language in the place by the staff. We did not try the Pizza as we are from the land of pizza so nothing could outdo our home. I did not have poutine but I found the Fries to be very good.

I've ate a lot of pizza on my life. I ate their Deluxe Pizza, home made crust...and OMG THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST PIZZA I'VE EVER TASTED!!! I AM VERY IMPRESSED!! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
