Don Tonio - Stamford

We were on our way to Milford when we spotted this food truck and made a U-turn. We're so glad we did! The tacos reminded us of the amazing street tacos in Southern California. If we ever pass through again, we will definitely stop by. #eatlocal

Don Tonio Taco Truck is the finest taco truck in Stamford! Their tacos are absolutely delightful. I always order the tacos al pastor served with rice and beans. The platter includes three generous and flavorful tacos along with a separate container of yellow rice and beans. They also offer fantastic tacos de birria with consomé (the broth). The prices are reasonable, and the service is outstanding!

Pretty good tacos with fresh ingredients. I had the adobada and al pastor. They are not very big but full of flavor and juicy. Love the green sauce that comes with it, not spicy at all. They use one softened tortilla instead of two though so it always feels as if the taco is going to fall apart.

If your in the area and want authentic Mexican food I highly recommend this taco truck. I had a chicken and steak taco both were excellent. Exceptionally fresh.

The restaurant is extremely clean and very professional, and I must say, the food is absolutely delicious! The flavors are authentic and fantastic, and the portions are generous. The chicken quesadilla was a standout for me!
