Bachata - Stamford

This restaurant can be inconsistent. If you go after 12 o'clock, the baked chicken tends to be very dry. The servers can be irritated if you ask them to make it less dry. They also have issues with cross-contamination, using pork utensils for non-pork items. It's helpful to be fluent in Spanish if you're unsure about what you want. The staff can be rude, so customers may not feel comfortable complaining to the owner.

Every time I go, I find that they have small portions. I recently went and was told that a dish contained meat, but it was mostly fat. After discussing the issue with both the owner and the server, they finally gave me a proper portion of meat. However, they continued to complain about losing money and tried to skimp on the portions. I will never return to this restaurant again!

Bachata is a wonderful spot to enjoy delicious Spanish cuisine. I always head there when I'm craving some authentic Spanish dishes. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming.
