Blue Fugu Japanese Steakhouse

I’ve been a regular here since 2004, and the crunchy rolls are of such high quality that I haven’t found anything like them anywhere else. I’ve even dined at the renowned Morimoto in Philadelphia, and I still haven't enjoyed crunchy rolls as good as those at Blue Fugu!

I had the hibachi, and the sushi roll took a frustrating 45 minutes to arrive. The raw fish was served after the hot food, and I ordered a spicy tuna roll. I only managed to eat one piece before I had to send it back. As someone who enjoys sushi at least once a week, I found it unpalatable. The chicken in the hibachi didn't sit well with me either. The steak was simply seasoned with soy sauce, and even the noodles lacked flavor. This place really needs more seasoning. I'm quite sensitive to flavors, and I just felt everything needed a pinch of salt to enhance it. Maybe it's just my Long Island taste, but I wasn't impressed with this restaurant. I'm really disappointed. The atmosphere is nice, but the food was just mediocre at best.

Absolutely wonderful! We always enjoy the sushi, which is incredibly fresh. Be sure to try the specials! It's perfect for groups, especially if not everyone is a sushi lover, as there are plenty of delicious cooked options available. The service is consistently outstanding. I've never had anything less than an exceptional experience. Thank you!

Beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, and super friendly staff! My first time going in there I felt like a regular. I love this place!
