Le Restaurant - St. Moritz

Excellent food and excellent drinks in a nice atmosphere but very crowded the service absolutely amazing Not too many choices for lunch for people that don’t like cheese but oh well you are in the cheese country after all

We visited the restaurant on a Saturday evening. It was elegant, the food was very good, the presentation unique, the portions surprisingly large. It was a lovely experience my husband has planned for us and a friend. We took pictures and left with full and...happy bellies. Of course it was astonishingly expensive but so is the whole of St Moritz and it’s a place for only a few that can afford! Unfortunately our visit was tainted, when we saw a few days later on the credit card bill that our CHF 100 tip (handwritten) was mistaken for CHF 200 (the bill was CHF 735 without tip). My husband didn’t notice when paying and so I had to make the unpleasant call explaining ..... Reception connected me to restaurant, there in broken English (I speak German and Russian and French too ... none of those languages were understood) I was reconnected and then redirected and hung up on. Again calling reception and connected to accounting, I was told without any hesitation that I will be immediately refunded. Thank you (to accounting). No apologies from the restaurant manager however..... After spending almost a monthly salary I was sad I had to make this call and seem ‘cheap’ to refund the tip .. very bad customer service and I will pass this tainted experience on.

Excellent good quality food coupled with excellent service and surrounding, expensive but definitely with it

To be honest, you are expected to enter this restaurant, elegant, impersonal and formal service staff. in reality expects a: accommodating, child-friendly and quite personal staff. we had 2 really great evenings with excellent eating and interesting discussions with the staff. we will be happy to come back!

I love starting my morning here. It is such a perfect space and the staff is busy, and always a pleasure to interact with.
