Silky's Frozen Custard - St. Louis

The cocktails and food were incredible. Our waitress, Joelle, was fantastic and really enhanced our experience. We'll definitely return the next time we're in town!

What a perfect way to wrap up an evening! This frozen custard is incredibly smooth. It was fantastic! I opted for the gooey butter cake concrete with buttered pecans, and for a moment, I actually thought about moving back to St. Louis. Luckily, I came to my senses! My wife ordered the strawberry sundae with pecans, and it was equally delicious. I recall a place nearby called Lix, which was also really good! There must be something special about this area. Great job! I might try to fit in another visit before I leave.

The frozen custard here is simply amazing—so creamy and decadent! I always opt for the Grasshopper flavor, which is minty and has generous chunks of chocolate, while both my girlfriend and our cat rave about the plain vanilla. It can be a bit on the expensive side when purchased in-store, but I find that getting a quart to take home is quite affordable. They stay open late, typically until 10 PM, and their location is super convenient for me, making it a perfect choice for dessert after dinner. The staff has always been friendly and efficient.

The frozen custard here is exceptional, and the customer service is even better! Sophia, one of the employees, always provides my family with outstanding service every time we visit. It’s refreshing, especially in a world where great customer service seems rare. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

The best custard I've ever had! It's even better than Ted Drew's, and I have a lot of nostalgia for Ted Drew's since I grew up right next to it, but Silkys takes the top spot. They were really kind to accommodate my large order a day in advance and freeze it so that I could make the long trip the next day without it melting in the summer heat. They went above and beyond, and I really appreciate it. Thank you!
