Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen - St. Joseph

My first time here from out of town and very impressed! The buttery croissants....mmmm!!!! The spinach dip was good but just a little cold. I ordered the Louisiana pasta and although it had a great flavor, it was very heavy on salt. Attentive staff and fast service. Very clean atmosphere.

The honey butter croissants were amazing. Our waitress was extremely friendly had a very bright cheerful smile and was totally on top of things. And the rest of the food was excellent for the price!

Our server Theresa was awesome and friendly. She made the visit so much better! My daughter turned 12 and she sang her happy Birthday and brought her a special treat. The door staff was very friendly as well. Overall a good experience.

Traveling home from Kansas City and decided to stop in St. Joe for dinner. We had a party of 11. I was told they could not sit us together. I was not happy about it but accepted her answer. As we were being seated, I noticed that there were a bunch of empty tables, I asked why they could not put them together for us. I was told no they can't there was not a server in that section. However, there were people seated in that section. I asked for a manager. When the manager came to talk to me, I explained that we were there to have dinner as a family and would like to sit together, he again told me the same thing. When I told him that I thought this was ridiculous he looked at me and said I think I will just refuse service to you. I have never been refused service, makes me feel like there was something more to it. Or they were just plain lazy and did not want our business. Very unfortunate that your restaurant cannot accommodate family's. The restaurant next door was happy to have us. I love Cheader's but will never spend one more cent there.

Stopped in for lunch at 11:30 with 5 people. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our server had our drinks and hot, buttered croissants to us within minutes. Since we frequently eat at Cheddar's, we were able to order quickly. Our meals were prepared perfectly and served within 15 minutes of being ordered. This is one of the only places that still serves a Monty Cristo sandwich and it's perfectly prepared every time. The buffalo chicken wrap is delicious and huge! Be prepared to take some home. The salmon is always cooked just right and never dry. Kids and adults will enjoy the chicken strips platter with it's 2 sides. There are so many delicious items on the menu here; coconut shrimp, potato soup, nachos, country fried chicken, chicken sandwiches, delicious cheeseburgers, steak.... There's something for everyone here.
