フィードバックを提供するThe restaurant offers a very good selection of dishes. All 6 of us ordered the fish and chips. There was no need to use their Take Away. Fish was very good and worthy of a visit to try. The renovated building now offers an excellent view of the course and a small moment of the ocean.
This is, of course, an old jewel. I think his over 100 years old, so it can be short for longer hitters. The natural hilly landscape makes for uneven lies, so approach shots can be tricky. Greens are always in good shape and usually... soft. Food on course is good with fresh sandwiches and bqq. You need to try the fish and chips inside could be the best in the city!
The course design is compact, i.e. the fairways are close together and have hidden approaches. Can be dangerous, especially at fundraising tournaments when the course has many beginners players. Look, people are hit with cluster balls. The food is good and hear that it... got better. With the short golf season here in St. John's you need something else to drive revenue than just golf. So you're on the right track. Try it.
A group of us reserved a table here for lunch last week. The lunch menu had a good variety of items, although most of us ordered the fish and chips! The fish was very lightly battered and crispy. The fries were home made and tasty....Best of all was the service which was prompt and attentive. Servers made sure to ask (several times) whether we needed anything or wanted coffee refills. It was not especially busy but I suspect would be more crowded during golf season.
I attended my husbands Christmas Social with his work Colleagues at this lovely Golf Club this year. This was a very quaint, small gathering place for small socials. The building was very clean, the atmosphere was very nice and comfortable, the staff were very pleasant,...the food was excellent !
