It's located on a quiet back road, and we visited on a Sunday at noon and were able to get a table right away. The cream tea comes with scones topped with jam and clotted cream, along with a cup of tea, and they offer a selection of various scones and teas. I chose the blueberry scone since I had seen many recommendations for it, and it was absolutely delicious! I also tried the Earl Grey tea, hoping to have a good experience since it's popular in Cornwall, but I found it to be quite weak and lacking in flavor, especially for those who prefer a stronger tea. Overall, I enjoyed my experience there and would highly recommend it!
This is a cozy spot for enjoying Cornish scenery and tea. It's best to arrive early to snag some freshly baked scones, as they go quickly. We didn't have to wait for a table, but some people had to wait a few minutes after us. The staff is friendly and welcoming.
We had the best corn and Cornish tea here. It’s a lovely and beautiful place, and the staff is very friendly. There are only a few seats available inside, and just one or two outside. The hours are quite limited, as they close at 2 PM. Their chocolate cake was also delicious.
That was such a great sound! we were in st ives for the day and wanted to grab a good creamtee at some point. after a fast google I was told that olives is a certain one! we found it beautiful and easy through google maps and signs and were not disappointed! we waited outside for 5-10 minutes, but we are checked more than once in this time. Although small in the inner, it felt not tamed and both workers were so friendly, friendly and helpful that really made the experience. eating was fast, delicious and exactly what we wanted! there was a good balance of feeling as if they wanted to wait for everyone, but not the feeling at all rushed and the personal was so good to navigate them and turn them as quickly as possible. To be honest, olives can not recommend very enough; incredible eating, an amazing little situation and so real, friendly and helpful staff! To say that it worked only 2 of them, they had all the ding up to a tee and you could hardly say it! Many thanks for the best cream tee I had!
We were lucky enough to get a table at Olive's Cafe for lunch. It's a lovely, warm and cosy place and very popular too so don't leave it too late if you want to eat here! Once the home made scones are gone, that's it for the day. I tried the quiche for lunch, and it was delicious. The pot of tea for two was also generously sized. We'll definitely make a beeline back here next time we're in St Ives.
