The Waterfront - St Helier

Really comfortable and busy hotel right in the MarinaIt's beside the Dior museum (€8) which we avoided and near the Manch lles car ferry to Jersey.

Very nice restaurant. Food is very good and well-served.

We had a reservation for 10:15, but we had to wait while other guests were seated at the available tables. We didn't get seated at our table until 10:35. Unfortunately, many items were no longer available as breakfast service ended at 11:00. We had to wait to order omelettes and fried eggs because the scrambled eggs on the buffet were gone. We finally got our food at 10:51, making the cozy breakfast experience rushed. We didn't even bother ordering the American pancakes because we were running out of time.

The set menu was limited. when booking it did not say it was a set menu. the a la carter was displayed online at the time of booking, which is why we booked. at the arrival we were offered only the set. a waitress said that's all. but when we paid the bill we said we could have meal from the bar menu. the set, although limited was good, slightly cold. more sauce. that's a bit disgusting.
