Second time to Alila Napa Valley but only for lunch this time in Acacia House. It has a great location, only 1 min drive from the Beringer Vineyard. The lunch menu is tasty. I highly recommend chicken schnitzel and Eggs Lobster.

Food is very good. I recommend the scallop for sure. Risotto is good but on the salty side. Burger is at the level. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Overall a very positive experience. Food was generally tasty, though the risotto was a little congealed. Lovely service and pleasant atmosphere. One thing to note was the inexplicable experience with the valet. Our vehicle was never moved or parked in the lot from what we could tell. It just sat by the valet stand for the duration of the meal. This means the valet never moved it. We gave him a $10 tip anyway but when we tried to throw away some garbage in the bin next to his stand we were very curtly told it was for hotel guests only. So they had a special, dedicated garbage can for guests. Never mind the fact we had just spent over $500 in the adjacent restaurant and given the guy a tip for doing nothing, we were refused waste bin privileges. Left scratching our heads and a little annoyed about that. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
