El Coyote Charro - St. George

Very good Al Pastor Fries! I stopped in between the lunch dinner rush. Had no problem picking up my order to go. The dining room could be cleaner; that's the -1 star. Food flavor is great.

We wanted to have pollo loco tonight but when we arrived at 7pm it was closed. We were bummed and looked around. My family and I walked into El Coyote Charro and it was a ghost town don’t let that intimidate you . The food not only came out FAST but DELICIOUS. I ordered three tacos and a burrito which I shared and we were so happy that pollo loco was closed! Don’t miss out! Trust me!

This is a staple place whenever we visit St. George. The food is very good, and this is only one of the few places that has an Tromp for serving Tacos and Pastor. For some reason, Trompos are hard to find in the State of Utah. If you are not sire what a 'Trompo ' is, it is the ball of pastor meet that is placed on a stick for cooking against an open flame. This is the way Original Tacos al Pastor are cooked in Mexico City. The Trompo makes it possible to achieve a perfect blend of crispy meat and keeping the juices and the sauces and seasoning. Yum Yum. The prices are fair but I wouldn 't call it inexpensive. Good tacos are hard to find and therefore I am willing to pay a little more for a good taste. The staff is friendly and the place is clean. I would totally invite anyone to stop by to check it out. I had the Pastor Burrito last time and it did not disappoint!

The food is delicious and authentic. We got pretty much one of everything and I don't have any complaints about the food. I thought the price was decent too. I'll definitely go back. However, they don't clean up the dining area really well. So don't go here expecting a high-end picture-perfect atmosphere. It's definitely lived in. But food is bomb.

Great street tacos. Smaller menu with street tacos and a few other items, everything we tried was great. The meat on the street tacos was more flavorful than most that I have had. We tried 3-4 different meats, all of them were great.
