The George - St Edmundsbury

The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. Service was great, and the location was perfect. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

The restaurant has an amazing atmosphere with cozy lighting and super friendly staff. It is a nice, welcoming, and warm pub with great decor. I would rate the rooms, service, and location all a 5 out of 5.

Used to be a good gastropub several years ago, but now it seems to be under different management and no way near as good. The roast pork on Sunday was good, but the waiting staff didn't really seem to know what they were doing. Mid priced wines by the glass were below average quality. Service was very slow and unprofessional we gave up without ordering dessert. Clearly not the fault of individual waiting staff, but poor management.

Absolutely delicious! We were a party of six and each one of us thoroughly enjoyed our food. It was not only tasty but well presented. The waiting staff were professional,efficient and friendly. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Sorry we have no photos too busy having a great time. Parking outside of restaurant also a bonus for our elderly mother. Service: Dine in
