Bury Fish And Chip Shop

I visited 26/4 Supper and had an amazing meal of delicious cod fillet and chips, along with tasty mushy peas and a tangy curry sauce. The staff were friendly and the dining area was clean and well-organized, located next to the takeaway counter. This was the best fish and chips I've had in a long time.

I had another amazing fish and chips dinner that was freshly cooked. The service was excellent and the staff were always friendly. The prices were very reasonable and the portions were generous. The presentation of the food was always top-notch. I also enjoyed the new addition of quiet background music, which created a relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant caters to those with gluten intolerance, such as myself, which was greatly appreciated. I highly recommend this place.

My 8-year-old friend treated me to a delicious meal at this restaurant. The fish was amazing and the chips were perfectly crispy with no hint of grease. What we loved most was the friendly staff. We will definitely be returning. They offer dine-in or takeaway options, and we decided to dine in. They also serve excellent tea and coffee!

Really fantastic eating to great trips we have eaten fish and chips at many places and a cash for some paid (milsoms in ipswich waste of money) our experience was fantastic and we are well maintained

Nice staff, clean, great value BUT terrible food. What has gone wrong with this place. Everybody I know told me how how down this place has gone from being the best in Bury St Edmunds a couple of years ago. The Cod was just mush...and luke warm and the mushy peas were in the small container possible and were cold .. that’s it for me, will never be back and when the current owners wake up and say “what’s happened to my business”, read these reviews ..
