The Cake Cottage - St. Cloud

The cookies and cupcakes are amazing! The atmosphere and owner is so nice and sweet. My brother (who is typically not a chocolate fan) LOVESSS the triple chocolate cookie. We have been 3 times in the past one week! And we intend on coming back many more! Definitely a hidden gem

Be careful when placing an order over the phone or via text. They will not give you the proper instructions and then act like you didn't send them the correct info needed to start the order in which my wife did with proof. And when you prove them wrong by sending them the screenshots of the conversation, they still try to backpedal without any apologies and will stop answering your calls. A 12 year old was unable to get the cake she wanted for her birthday party thanks to their unprofessionalism which they were completely unremorseful about with zero attempts to make the situation right. We will never do business with this place again.

I am so hurt and disappointed by this company. My daughter decided last minute to have a a party due to our family having a difficult year , she did not want to trouble us but we were able to cheer her up and she wanted her party! I contacted this company on a Tuesday asking if it was possible to have a cake made by Saturday. A simple cake for 7 with an image on top. They accepted and my daughter and family were so happy. On Friday when I texted what time I could pick up the cake, I was told they were overbooked now blaming ME for the cake not being done. I have attached screenshots of the conversation with Silvana where the order is clearly confirmed where she later tells me I didn’t pay a deposit but was never told I needed to as you can see in the chat. Also, she tried to lie and say she said it on the phone but she did not. Very sad for my daughter but I can’t do anything about it now. Very unprofessional to say the least.

Amazing customer service and delicious cakes. We ordered a Barbie cake for my daughter’s birthday. It was perfect and exactly what we wanted. Highly recommend!!!
