Tap House Grill - St. Charles

I was here about 6 years ago and thought the food wasn't really good. I'm not surprised to say all these years later, I'm still disappointed. Ordered a salmon BLTA which I thought would be a breeze. I ordered my with no tomato, but they must have heard no avocado, since my sandwich didn't come with anything. Thankfully the server realized they put tomato on it which was a nodd to the service. But I also did the spicy battered cauliflower which came out looking like cheese curds than what you expect from cauliflower, but it definitely wasn't spicy. To top it off, despite my sandwich being made incorrectly, didn't take it off my bill. looks like it will be another 6 years to see if this place gets better. Sure it's good enough for drinks and service, but not worth it for lunch.

We got there after the post-parade crowd left and the place looked rough, but staff recovered quickly and we had a nice dinner. Good beer selection too!

I had lunch here with my daughter, and we can't wait to go back! Service was great, and the food was AMAZING.
