My food was overcooked, the ambiance was unpleasant, the service was mediocre, and it seems they could use a new manager.
We were fortunate to secure a reservation and our expectations were exceeded. The food we enjoyed was exceptional. The restaurant is situated in a historic building with a view of a Parks Canada site (the St. Andrews Blockhouse).
Wonderful choices, everything is fresh and tasty. Great service, great view, especially from the deck.
A beautiful culinary experience from the beginning to the end. We sat outside on the deck with a beautiful view of the water and the marine island. We were greeted by a friendly host and a sign that they were full, so we were glad... we had called in advance. The menu is on a chalkboard that is brought to your table with a good selection of very tasty options. For beginners it was too difficult to choose so that we three smoked salmon wrapped scallops (fast a pleasure as peskatarian, I am usually disappointed by the offer of Bacon wrapped scallops), arancini and crab cake. Everyone had a small set of delicious Niger Reef Salat with his signature poppy dressing. The Mains were delicious herbal curry and naan bread and lobster sandwich with Niger Reef salad. We closed the meal with a delicious peach strawberry crumb with a doll of ice. They had some local beers and wine on the glass. Service was excellently attentive, casual and very friendly and welcoming. Cameron was our server and she was fabulous. We will definitely come back.
