フィードバックを提供するThere’s plenty of space to sit and lounge while you interact with the adorable kitties, all of which are available for adoption! If you're planning to bring younger children, they're most welcome. Supervised small children who understand how to gently pet cats will have a great time. The only age restriction is that children must be at least 7 years old to pick up the cats in the main area. Most of the kittens have just been spayed and neutered, so while you can’t pick them up, they will happily climb all over you! The drinks and pastries are perfectly refreshing for the atmosphere, and they even offer beer and wine for those of age. While this café isn't just about the food and drinks, the menu is fun and diverse, with treats that are small and just right for the setting. You can really see how much the owners, staff, and volunteers care about these cats. Their passion for their mission shines through in their service and their knowledge of each cat's name and personality. Everyone here truly wants you to enjoy your time, shower these cats with love, and ensure they are well cared for. Some may find the adoption application process a bit strict, but it’s necessary and aligns with the café's mission of finding forever homes for the cats. They approach the process with care, so it may take some time—don’t expect to adopt a cat on the same day. If you’re looking for something unique and enjoyable to do in St. Augustine that supports a good cause while giving you plenty of kitty cuddles, I highly recommend Frisky Cat Café! Thank you, Scott and the team, for a wonderful experience. Kid-friendliness: This place is great for kids who are accustomed to a cat-friendly environment.
I visited from New York and spent the day in St. Augustine, looking for a cute activity to enjoy while we waited for the rain to pass. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. All the cats were adorable and friendly, making it a delightful way to spend a few hours in the afternoon. Plus, my tortoise iced latte was delicious!
Moreover, a female staff member was on the phone with a potential customer, only to gossip about them after the call ended. This kind of behavior is unprofessional and reflects poorly on the establishment as a whole. Additionally, I witnessed age discrimination firsthand. A 77-year-old customer and his wife expressed an interest in adopting a kitten, but the woman dismissed his application solely based on his age. This is extremely unfair, especially considering that many seniors are perfectly capable of providing loving homes for pets. Her attitude towards the elderly gentleman was immature and unnecessary, making it clear that they do not respect patrons who want to support their business. On a positive note, the barista was pleasant and did a great job; the boba was delicious. She is the only reason I’m giving this place a star, along with the fact that the cats are adorable. But overall, the staff’s behavior leaves much to be desired.
Came here with my best friend and our kids after searching for something to do in St. Augustine and WHAT AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! The staff there was phenomenal, kind, and very patient! The entire cafe was lovely: clean, modern, and you can tell the cats are loved and socialized and they are passionate about them being adopted to the right family. So many goodies to choose from as well, and they are non profit, so every cent goes back into taking care of these sweet cats. Def make this a stop on your trip!!!!
All I have to say is WOW!!! What a beautiful, amazingly wonderful spot. The rooms are so cheery and clean, the coffee and macarons are delicious, and ofcourse the cats take the cake! My family thoroughly enjoyed themselves and we will definitely be back. Everybody needs to come visit this nonprofit pronto! :
