フィードバックを提供するI ordered the Pad Thai with chicken, and it was clear that the chicken had been frozen and not thawed properly. The Pad Thai sauce tasted like it came from a jar. They apparently upgraded their menu to include Thai iced tea—someone had previously complained about its absence, so I was curious to try it. Unfortunately, it came without a straw and filled to the brim with ice (not too upset about the lack of straw, since it would have been plastic, but still...?). During my visit from 5:30 to 6:30 PM, there was just one server and one chef. If you're craving Thai food and can't drive to the city, this place is passable, but I wouldn’t return. My curiosity has been satisfied.
The food was excellent, but the service was extremely disappointing. The restaurant wasn't busy at all, yet we waited over 20 minutes for our bill, which is a major pet peeve of mine. The menu offered a nice selection, but the poor service overshadowed the experience. I plan to give it another try and will update this review if things improve.
The food here was neither outstanding nor terrible, but we wouldn't recommend it. We tried the pad thai and chicken pineapple fried rice, and despite being used to really delicious Thai dishes, we were disappointed given the Yelp ratings. The service was lacking; our water was only refilled just before we left, and we weren't provided with any plates to share our meal, so we ended up eating directly from the serving dishes. Additionally, a previous reviewer mentioned that this restaurant isn't actually run by an authentic Thai owner, which could definitely impact the quality of the cuisine.
Local OKAY Food Meh, service Okay service, was dinning alone received appetizer and main at the same time. But the food came immediately, and she kept my glass full Food, Green Papaya Salad: Tough dish to get right. Tasted like green papaya, It lacked heat, and lacked that crazy flavor that makes me eat it despite the heat. Maybe missing the fermented crab PadThai reasonable portion. Again the dish lacked that irresistible Thai flavor. The sauce was very thick.. like it came from a jar.
Delicious blue eyed Thai food. Don't expect authentic Thai food but western interpretations of the cuisine. We had the boat noodles, spring rolls and spicy seafood salad . The boat noodles had savoury, sweet and sour flavour profiles, good comfort food. While the spring rolls were crisp but lacked flavour. The spicy seafood salad was good but you have to be able to take the heat. Spice root is nice departure from hamburgers and brewpubs
