I really wanted to like this restaurant, but my most recent visit left me disappointed. My first experience was on Mother's Day for brunch. We had a reservation for early in the morning, but we had to wait 30 minutes before we could eat because not all the food was ready. Plus, we only had an hour to dine. The crepe station wasn’t even open until right when we were leaving. I thought I would give it another chance, so for my second visit, I went on a Sunday around noon for the brunch buffet, thinking it would be a better time to enjoy the food. Unfortunately, that was a mistake. Most of the buffet items were empty, and the food that was left was cold and unappetizing. We never received any drink refills either. The bill came to $50 for me and my 8-year-old daughter, who hardly ate anything since the dishes she liked were already gone. I guess it’s time to look for a different place. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Although the team was occupied with cleaning and preparation, each of the three staff members took a few moments to check in on our satisfaction and engage in pleasant conversation. It felt like they were truly glad we stopped by. As for the food, the Montreal smoked meat was exceptionally flavorful, with the perfect amount of smokiness and spices. The French fries were nearly perfect, and the side of gravy was homemade and delicious! The Loft Club was a unique take on the classic club sandwich, served in a bun with generous portions of ham, turkey, and bacon. Team Bacon certainly approves! It was definitely worth the 3.5-hour drive from Calgary. My wife is already eager to return. Great food!
