Nearly Famous Deli Pasta House

I really wanted to like this place. I liked the feel, and while small the seating felt private. The Salad was very good. My wife had the Reuben sandwich and she liked it well enough. The service was fast and good. But then I got my pasta. They delivered the worst plate of Spaghetti and meatballs I have ever had. The pasta was water logged and over cooked. The homemade meatballs were bland and without a doubt microwaved. Their microwave was in need of replacement too, because some of the meatballs were mushy and some were leathery. I ate as much as I could the image I have attached is half of the unimpressive portion. You could be a pretty good deli but please drop the pasta from your name and your menu.

Wondering if we ordered poorly, but we were not impressed. Ordered pick-up, was ready in ten. Neither one of us would eat the turkey sandwich; the alfredo was quite bland; and, while the tomato soup had great flavor, the massive chunks of tomato needed to be blended. So we didn't eat the soup or sandwich (blech). Pecan bar was suuper tasty though. Based on other reviews, I think we didn't pick their best dishes. Seems like salads and desserts might be better choices.

I've eaten here twice, with several months between each visit. Just ok. Poor atmosphere; dark and uncomfortable tables. Took my 86 year old mom there for lunch today. First thing when you open the door, you're greeted with a harsh warning sign not to bring in your own food and beverage. ?)Then, instead of a welcome greeting, the host asked how many and asked me to close the door. Mom was slower coming in) she then pointed to two tables and said we could choose whichever one. They were both in a dark loud area near the kitchen. instead of staying for an unpleasant lunch experience, we left. Done

Lived here my whole life and never been! It’s a cozy atmosphere local feel. Very good salad with homemade croutons which were delicious!The lasagna was terrific, I love the ricotta was very good! All around great place! Lemonberry Mascarpone Cake for dessert!
