Having never tried southern cooking before, I asked her to create a menu for my event, and the results were simply amazing and delicious. I was a bit hesitant to trust someone else with the menu, but Tonya made me feel completely at ease. Her staff was not only funny and respectful but also incredibly attentive. I couldn’t have asked for a better crew to take care of my guests. Be sure to include their homemade ice cream on your menu—it’s a must! Tonya's offers amazing food and exceptional service. We enjoyed a lunch in the South that included catfish, collard greens, peach cobbler, and a mimosa bar. Every single dish was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend Tonya for any event!

I appreciated her visit to the venue a week before the event to familiarize herself with the space and layout. On the day of the event, she arrived two hours early, as promised, and was fully prepared to serve the meal. Her team managed the buffet efficiently, and the service went smoothly, with Tonya coordinating the guests to join the line seamlessly. Throughout the event, she maintained close communication with me to ensure everything stayed on schedule. Additionally, she took some time to join us on the dance floor during the reception, which added a warm, personal touch that made her team feel like an integral part of the celebration. Once the event concluded, Tonya and her staff cleaned up thoroughly — it was as if they had never been there! They also left the kitchen spotless and neatly stored leftovers in the refrigerator. An added bonus was that she kindly cut and served the birthday cake I had prepared, as well as pouring the champagne and sparkling cider for our toast. I do have a couple of suggestions for improvement: 1. It would be beneficial for Tonya to consider another payment method that doesn’t come with a 4% processing fee, like the one from PayPal, as that was quite frustrating. 2. If you have specific dietary preferences, such as reduced salt or sugar, be sure to communicate those requests in advance. I found the chicken to be a bit salty for my taste, but I realize that I should have addressed this beforehand — I typically don’t add salt after cooking. Overall, the event was a lovely backyard birthday dinner for 60 people, served buffet style. I would absolutely recommend Tonya and would happily hire her again for future events.

The food is delicious! The desserts are scrumptious! The owner is very friendly and you can taste the love she has in her dishes. There’s a variety of items on the menu and you won’t be disappointed with whatever you decide to eat.
