Heirloom A Milltown Eatery

I took my wife here for her birthday. It is a beautiful restaurant and has a great atmosphere. It is upscale southern and is a little pricey, but the food was amazing and was brought out to us in a timely manner. We especially enjoyed the fried green tomatoes! The only complaint was that we were told by our server that my wife would receive a free dessert for her birthday, but then we were charged for it. We would not have ordered it otherwise. I did not make a big deal of it as it looked like they were quite busy at the time. Certainly not enough to keep us away as we both had a great time and are already making plans to return.

First time but I'll definitely be returning. Food was amazing. We had the special which was Grouper with the shrimp and grits setup. Absolutely delicious! Our server Vivian was extremely attentive, she was very knowledgeable and gave great suggestions. Atmosphere had a an outstanding ambiance. I can't wait to return! Came from the lobby/bar area with a larger group to get a table and was told right away they only had one table. We decided to let the kids sit because they were hungry while we sat at the bar. While eating the manager came and asked us to get our kids and have them bring their food to the lounge/lobby area because they were too loud. Food was not great, 1/4 of my kale salad was yellow.
