Pure Country offers dance lessons 6 nights a week. You can learn a multitude of line dances from beginner to advanced and older to the latest dances. They also offer a variety of couples dance lessons from mixers like the barn dance to a traditional 2-step and even swing. No other location around caters to such a broad range of country dance styles. While I have my preferred dance styles, I appreciate the opportunity to expand my repertoire. And they post their lessons calendar for the whole month so you can see what lessons are coming up.That’s not all that makes them unique. Their DJ Jeremy McGuigan pays attention to the room and tries to make sure to play songs that get everyone on the dance floor. Not everyone feels comfortable making song requests and Jeremy wants to make sure everyone feels welcome.

My favorite place to hear Country music, and see linedancing, swing and two stepping???!!Did I mention the food is great also, along with great staff and classy owners. I'm so glad that Sparks/Reno has just a great place for Country Music fans to go every week and have fun!!Thank you Pure Country Canteen in Sparks, NV????!!

Such a great country saloon. Live music, line dancing (and lessons if ya don't know how). You'll meet the most friendly people in town there.
