Ijji Sushi 2 - Sparks

Standing Sushi Square. You have a pretty good choice. The service is pretty slow. The Wasabi had a dried crust as if it had been sitting for hours. The ginger wasn't fresh either. Otherwise the price was not bad and the actual sushi was decent.

The food and service were good, maybe even great, but it never felt inviting. I just didn't feel welcome. I don't even know how to describe it, there were only 2 other tables with customers next to the counter and the service, while professional 'polite' was just like curt and arrogant. That's as close as I can describe it. Food and appearance all nice, service simply unpleasant and unpleasant.

My husband and I used to frequent ijji restaurant but stopped going due to declining service and food quality. However, we decided to give it another try a few weeks ago and were pleased with the great service and delicious, hot food. Our happiness was short-lived when a cockroach ran over our table to the soy sauce caddy. My husband informed the manager and they offered to move us to a different table and bring out fresh food. However, my husband was not satisfied with their response as they did not seem concerned about the issue and were not prepared to address it properly. We have decided to never eat at this restaurant again and will not be recommending it to others.

In Ijji many times over the years, but they are better and better when it comes to the taste of their food. The service sometimes lacks, but understandably with the attitude crisis now. The food is never disappointed.

The sushi at this restaurant is not fresh or authentic. All of the fish and shellfish are frozen, and the sauce is overly sweet. The quality does not justify the high prices.
