Micky's Fish And Chips - Southwark

It was good crispy outside tender inside. Traditional taste of London. Tartar sauce and green chutney are good.

On recommendation, we sought this place out and were not disappointed. We had the medium fish and chip meal which came with the mashed peas and a soft drink. We ate everything. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable. Fun to have the traditional meal and go away happy.

Came across this by accident a few years ago. Still can't believe how good it was. Have visited several time and taken people there, as it is hard to find decent fish and chips in London. It's worth sitting in, though you can do take away too.

Sad to hear it's closed down. The food was really good, service was good. I always sat in and had it freshly cooked.

The food was old, lukewarm, and tasted like it had been frozen for a long time. It was not at all like traditional cuisine. We will not be returning to this restaurant. Maybe we just happened to visit at an unfortunate time of day, but we definitely did not have a pleasant experience.
