Silk Road Xinjiang Cuisine - Southport

This restaurant is amazing, I have never been to a restaurant so flavourful except this one. The dishes are cooked to perfection and are made beautifully. The skewers are delicious and you can choose which types you would like as well as the vegetable stir fry which has a variety of vegetables and is so good to eat. 100% recommend!!

Took some friends there and they loved the lamb skewers, the lamb with cumin and onion. Noodles are ok. Dumplings are not the best. Will do it again.

Ah. The food. Slow service but definitely worth the wait. Try the garlic cucumber salad. Bit pricey but worth it. The sticks are the best. The best. I'd be happy to drive down to the coast just to go there.

Definitely try the beef soup noodles as it is the best halal Chinese one I've tasted. Tried the one in Singapore and Malaysia they are not as good. The dumplings are yummy too. The portions are big and each dish can easily be shared amongst 2-3 people. Oh yeah don't forget to ask for a side of chilli oil!

Really interesting Restaurant offering Authentic Uyghur Cuisine. Also known as Ayana Cuisine. Located at 8 Davenport Street Southport. Spacious interior with lots of seating options including tables, booths, a private dining room as well as outdoor dining. Had the Lamb Polo with a Side Salad as well as a Yoghurt drink. The Lamb Polo was a generous size and very tasty. The Cucumber side salad had an interesting tart taste and was quite refreshing. The Yoghurt drink was mildly sweet and delicious. A bit of Traditional background music would be a good addition. Many interesting dishes to choose from, So, Will be returning for more.
