Fat Andy's Burger - Southport

The prices are excellent for classic burgers, fries, and hot dogs. The service is quick as well! This is exactly the kind of place I hoped to find when I had young kids and we visited the beach.

Oh my goodness, yes, definitely check this place out! There might be a line, but don’t let that deter you. This is a fantastic spot for burgers and fries, with a few tables on the deck. They offer both single and double burgers, and their fries are exceptional. The food is delicious, though the burgers can be a bit messy to eat; the fries, on the other hand, are perfectly crispy! We arrived around 3 PM, and they served us by about 3:05.

This burger is everything you wish you could create on your own grill at home. It's deliciously messy in all the right ways, with perfectly seasoned and juicy meat paired with fantastic toppings. There's a reason this place has been around for so long. You definitely need to give it a try when you're near the island!

Excellent burgers, delicious cheese fries, and tasty hot dogs. This is by far the best burger I've had in the area. There are a few picnic tables for dining, but it's mostly a grab-and-go setup. The staff was incredibly friendly as well! Parking is available all around the building, and it's easy to find. As for kid-friendliness, what child doesn’t enjoy burgers, hot dogs, and fries?!

The best burger joint on the East Coast, without a doubt.
