フィードバックを提供するThis was my first time visiting Milwaukee Joe’s. It was really good. I had Andie’s Mint Chocolate Chip. It tasted really good and just like an Andie’s mint. This place is a must stop for ice cream. We got lucky and had no wait since it was a holiday.
Holy cow! When I first walked in I thought the place was way over priced, especially when I saw the size of the cups they had for serving the ice cream in. But the reviews I had read said they were worth it, so I bit the bullet and dove in head first. I got the hot fudge brownie sundae. EXCELLENT CHOICE!!! And I don't think I could have made a better one. It was so good that I can't find the words to even describe it. But I suggest that you go try one for yourself. You might find a better one, but you would have to make it for yourself because I don't think anyone else has a better one. And in my opinion, I think it's the brownie that really makes it though, not the ice cream. However, because I am not normally nor regularly in this area, I did taste a couple of other flavors and ended up getting 2 scoops of Almond Joy ice cream on a chocolate dipped waffle cone and it was out of this world! I will definitely go back and take others with me.
The flavor of the ice cream we got were very good but today my son was halfway done with his ice cream in a cup when there was a short black hair in it (he has light brown hair and I have long black hair). The man who served it had short black so I'm assuming it was his. We were almost home when he saw and I told him that we were never gonna go back. The shop needs to store these cups better or wear hair nets to avoid something this. We were grossed out. Sorry but not sorry.
My kids love this place. It's clean and the ice cream is so good. They have dairy free options, that's the main reason that we like this place.
I am visiting from out of town. We asked for a large shake up front and then asked to try one flavor. I was with my father and an older Indian man gave my dad a small sample but not me. I asked him for mine and he gave me a look and didn't say anything. I asked for a second tasting and he told me with an attitude that they didn't give more samples there. I said really? It's an ice cream shop! Once he saw I was upset he tried to give my dad his and we refused it. I should have walked out and leave the shake there. Instead I respectfully asked for the smallest size and while I paid for the shake and ice cream I told him that he had lost on my larger purchase because he gave me attitude and refused to give us more than one sample. That he made us feel like we were not worth it or like we were not going to consume enough for him to cover the cost of his samples. There was a white customer there with her young child and I didn't hear him limit their samples as we walked out. Not sure if it was because we were Mexican or he is just a cheap business owner. If the business is not willing to give more or limit samples to one per person that should be clearly posted.
