Waffle House - Southern Pines

Typically, this restaurant is great, but I only managed to visit at 3:30 a.m. a few nights ago. I'm not sure if that’s a usual situation, but I find it strange that a Waffle House was my last resort. The kitchen seemed to be closed at that hour. However, whenever I’ve visited in the past, the service has always been excellent.

From the moment I stepped into this Waffle House and was welcomed by the friendly staff, I had a feeling that something great was in store. The server, who not only served with a smile but also doubled as a skilled window cleaner, set a cheerful tone right away. The cook, whom I affectionately called the "Genie" for his incredible skills, prepared my breakfast to perfection while keeping things entertaining. The other servers were equally delightful, making my meal feel truly worth the $10 I spent. The beautiful morning sun streamed through the crystal-clear windows, creating an unforgettable atmosphere for the start of my day.

I have visited several Waffle Houses, and this one is by far the cleanest behind the counter! The staff is friendly most of the time, especially during late-night hours. The food is good as well.

Absolutely excellent service. Within 2 minutes seat I was visited, ordered and food came out immediately. The food was hot and great. Great service. Thank you.

The food was great and the service was excellent. Everything came out hot and even though they were very busy, we had no issues at all.
