Mai-phi - Southern Pines

First timers... Lots of variety of the menu. Was intentional on having pho and other Vietnamese dishes. The wait was forever long... Our dumpling appetizer was delivered with a complimentary dish of another fried item. Appreciate the effort but two fried items makes it seem intentional on a future mistake. Hmm ok. Almost all the tables foods were wrong or had a long wait. Some of our main dishes were delivered. No worries. Wait is this rice or flour? No one knew. (Someone later was really sick ... Some of the food later was delivered wrong. They attempted to correct it but, once again, that was late all other parties at the table were finished. Packing up to go, the ticket and deliverance of to go items were delivered late. I understand short staff and a bad day or busy day ... Sadly we most likely won't be back. On to finding the best pho (vietnamese restaurant around *see reply from owner I didn't visit this place okay. this is the correct restaurant! I visited a couple weeks ago on a Friday night. My review just happens to be posted a couple days ago. See the decor and tables and presentation of food? Should know it belongs to your restaurant.

We called ahead to check if they were open and attempted to make a reservation, but they informed us that we could just walk in. So, we drove to the restaurant only to find that there were only 2 staff members, who appeared to have stepped out the door and locked it (even though it was only 7:30). We were upset by this and could see one of the staff members inside the kitchen, seemingly laughing at us as we left. Another family behind us also seemed displeased. I would not recommend this restaurant due to the unprofessional service.

I got the Bulgogi and it had a really good flavor but it was just too hot for me to eat. I even got them to leave the red pepper flakes out. I?m so sensitive to heat I cant even eat mild Buffalo wings. My 15 year old sister loved my Bulgogi and said it wasn?t hot that I was just a whimp ???? next time I?ll probably get the Pho Ba or Pho Ga! Because their PHO is amazing. I loved that they weren?t super busy. The appetizers were so good and huge portions.

The pho was amazing!! I ordered the Pho Bo and the portion was huge, I basically took home a whole other meal with what I couldn't finish at dinner. My fiancé had the red curry and it was delicious and had a bunch of veggies in it! We also had the fried potstickers and they gave us a complimentary order of crab rangoon that were great. Everything came out in a timely manner and the staff were friendly. We will be back!

We had the pot stickers, drunken noodles, pad Thai and everything was delicious! We'll be back soon!
