My burger was delicious and my husband had a cheese steak which he really enjoyed so we went back tonight. I ordered the cheese steak and I open one half and there was like 2 small pieces of meat on it I ended up only having 1/2 sandwich they ran out of ketchup and we got curly fries no house fries like last time. Now your right next door to lowes food and can't go buy ketchup. We will not return. 32.00 for dinner was ridiculous.
This place must be under new ownership because neither the menu or atmosphere match the favorable reviews here at all. The food was ok—but I ordered a masala burger (one of the very few “fusion” offerings on the menu) and there was nothing “masala” about it—it was just a regular burger. The fries were cooked well, but not salted or seasoned. All the dining room tables were dirty—I had to wipe ours myself with napkins and hand sanitizer. They had quite a few vegetarian options. The person who took our order and cooked was friendly, but overall the experience was disappointing.
I had the Biryani w/ shrimp and rosemary naan. It was a large portion, made fresh, and was so very delicious!! I took half of the biryani rice home, huge portion size and worth the money!
Where do I start. Ok. They do not take your order from your table and get their tip upfront so that you are pretty much ignored the rest of the meal. It was TWICE as expensive as anywhere else we have been for Indian. After going up and placing our order and paying, we thought for the high price it might at least be timely service since it looks like it is for primary take-out. We didn't expect it to take a ridiculously long time for our food order to be even put in. We waited an half-hour just before they came out to let us know they didn't have what we ordered, meaning they hadn't even started on it yet. There was only two other people in the whole place. Then we waitied another half-hour and the food seemed like it was thrown together with minimal ingredients and small portions. They do not have real plates or silverware so one has to eat out of a plastic to-go cup with a plastic fork. No extra napkins. No water (tap) unless you buy the overpriced bottles of it. Stacked up against other Indian Restaurants in the area this place is just disappointing all around. So.. The food is twice as much as anywhere else and for really unimpressive flavors, very long wait time, no real plates, no real cutlery, no tap water, skimping on everything, and plain, small portions of food. The final nail in the coffin for me though was that their wasn't even any soap in the bathroom and it was obvious that the canister has never once been filled before either. This was very gross to me because the workers were not wearing gloves and all there was, there were a couple hand sanitizer bottles.
I used to love the place. The portion sizes were good for the price that you pay. But I recently went after not going for a couple of months AND THEY CUT THE SIZE IN HALF WHILE KEEPING THE SAME PRICE!!!!! I don’t think that paying $18 for five measly pieces of chicken and some dry rice is fair. I really do hope they come to their senses.
