The restaurant has had some new options added to its amazing menu. I also really like the new tables and decor. The service here is the best in town with great attention to detail.

Much improved since our last visit, great service and fantastic food. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. A little noisy at the earlier part of the night but much better as the people at the tables diminished. Overall a great night and I wouldn't hesitate to go back soon. I would recommend a visit all my friends and family. Mark

From the outside you don’t realise what a gem this place is. On the inside a warm welcome from the staff. Greeted to our table, welcomed with the specials and all requests asked for in a timely manner. The food? Delicious. Well seasoned rosemary bread, swordfish not only well cooked but accompanied with a delicious medley of aubergine and assorted veg. The wine kept cool and desert was a treat light, refreshing and just sweet enough. The value? It’s not the cheapest but for the quality of food it’s perfect for a romantic dinner or catch up with friends.

Overall great valentine's experience. Really lovely food and staff. Best Italian in Southend for me. Overall food was good but they opted for a special valentine's menu. I had prawns and filo pastry with pomegranate seeds which didn't quite work for me. However, the ox cheek redeemed itself very decadent dish. Given I'm diabetic, they were really accomodating for dessert options and gave me a cheeseboard that was off menu. Service was not as good as usual but we completely understood as they were rushed off their feet. I have been here several times, lovely family run hidden gem and food is always fantastic.
