Bridgewater - SOUTH TOWNSVILLE

Thank you to Angela and all the staff who recently held our wedding. Angela (the event manager) had organized and coordinated everything with the Bridgewater Team/Staff and outside companies to ensure that our vision of the night was exactly what we discussed. Everything was great. The staff were professional, the Sommelier matched the wine to our menu selection, which was noticed by our guests, nothing was too much trouble for the waiting staff that they read the room perfectly. All nutritional requirements were met for each of our guests, and the food was not only visual, it was so delicious that another event leader (who was a guest from Melbourne) praised at the highest level, the taste of the ingredients used in the dishes, the freshness and presentation. The night went so smoothly and we are forever grateful to have such a dedicated and talented venue in Townsville.

Ordered the degustation menu. Seated at 7:15 pm, it’s currently 9:10 pm and we still have 2/5 courses to go! There was a 30+ wait between plate 1 and 2. The seafood-free option is far nicer than the seafood option. Far too slow between courses and the seafood dishes haven’t been great.

Good food best. Want to be bitten and meals cooked to perfection as this is the place in Townsville. The 300g Rump was cooked with a centimeter of his life, and so I like it. Make sure there is not much on the plate, so don't forget to order a few pages of extra small goodies. The woman had mushroom risotto and loved it. Others had different meals and unfortunately we ate our meals to get photos quickly. The cocktails are also great. Please book in advance as this place can be very busy in the heart of Townsville City. Good boys, you've dried or at night. Cheers big ears

One of the best restaurants I've ever been in Townsville with incredible staff and innovative dishes. I had the cured coral trout as my duck, and it was beautifully presented. I love my main that was a duck with many flavors and textures. And finally the desserts were all fantastic. We also ordered a number of pages and everyone was amazing. Can't wait to return.
