I didn't. Chinese food so well in years, I'm sure I'll be back. many thanks to mandarin inn! a licensed area, and unoccupied parking. great service. what a nice night. good friends meet over excellent eating in an unpredictable atmosphere. dinning alfresco or in restaurant. excellent restaurant choice, with good business to share.
I ordered chickensatay, which was like hawn and cut swash, with, no other sweet at all, in a watery engraving, without taste. it was like chicken pieces floating in a colored water. very disappointing. the service of the manager/owner was excellent, but. the girl that served the food never smiled once. I would not recommend eating at all, as my friends hawn and cashew nuts, was just as bad. will not return.
We usually go to a very good Chinese restaurant in benowa, but last week I have a chat with one of our customers who asked me if we have ever tried the mandarin inn. obviously I replied, it is 15 minutes from benowa waters and we. love eating in our local Chinese restaurant. he said he was sure that the mandarin would be as good if it were not better and compared to what we pay in benowa, it would be much less. So I asked my wife and daughter this afternoon whether she was for a new restaurant that was only 15 minutes from benowa waters and the answer was a solid yes. when we arrived, it was around 730 a.m. and to be honest, there were only a few tables occupied and I said to my wife and daughter that we were experiencing just one of 3 dingen, either eating was not delicious and fresh or eating was delicious, but very small portions for the low price or were for a great meal at the right price. and young was that right, every dish that was absolutely delicious, the east we had the garnels and chickensatay sticks with erdnuss sauce and then it went to enjoy the squirting bark with thorns and paprika, the bark was so tender. we also ordered the salt and pepper king's spells, which were crispy and fresh, and we also had the crispy chicken, which came with the 5 flavors that sprinkle them on the chicken before it melts in the mouth. the special fried rice was fresh and full garnel omelet and ham and my wife and daughter had the steamed rice. we arrived without a booking when we accepted Monday night that it was not necessary, we were immediately greeted by sam the manager who explained the specialties of the day and turned out to be a wonderful man with 30 years plus experience in the restaurant industry, he was very helpful and polite. we finally met the owner theny when he appeared outside to visit his guests. in short, this evaluation really proves that living in a more prosperous area does not mean better kitchen or service, quite in the opposite sometimes a little go out of their opposite and receive excellent customer service like the good old days and enjoy delicious eating for 30% less than they have paid. we were so full that they grabbed us some dog bags to go home, we will be definitiw back
We have dined at this restaurant several times and the food has always been consistently great. Due to COVID restrictions, we decided to do a pickup order. We ordered the chicken with cashews and sweet and sour pork. To our surprise, the quality was terrible. We have ordered these dishes before while dining in and they were excellent. It seems like they may have been using old ingredients due to the COVID lockdown. This was very disappointing and we will not be returning.
The food at this restaurant was truly outstanding - possibly the best we have ever had. The pricing was also very reasonable. Every dish we tried was delicious and the portion sizes were perfect. We couldn't find fault with anything. Thank you for a fantastic dining experience.
